Flatbed Tarps for Flatbed Trucking
Lumber Tarps – Lumber tarps for flatbed trucking are one of the most commonly used types of flatbed tarps for trailers. Lumber Tarps are designed for transporting lumber such as building materials, stacked wood, drywall, and construction materials, as well as the same great purposes as our Steel Tarps. Not only are Lumber Tarps cost-effective but they are made with 18 oz PVC coated fabric that is waterproof and provides great protection against the elements such as rain, the sun’s UV rays, hail, snow, and other debris in the roadway.
The base fabric for Lumber Tarps is a 1000×1300 denier and is cold crack rated at -40° C/F. Lumber Tarps include a heavy-duty fabric that includes two rows of Zinc-plated Steel D rings located at 24 inches and 48 inches from the edges on the sides and the rear flap. The base fabric for Steel Tarps is a 1000×1300 denier and is made to be durable and cost-effective and light in weight while being durable.
Steel Tarps include reinforced hems with 2-inch webbing and zinc-plated steel d ring hardware that is spaced out every 24 inches with two additional rows of D Rings that are located at 24 inches and 48 inches on all four sides to prevent load shifts when transporting cargo.
