The base fabric for Lumber Tarps is a 1000×1300 denier and is cold crack rated at -40° C/F. Lumber Tarps include a heavy-duty fabric that includes two rows of Zinc-plated Steel D rings located at 24 inches and 48 inches from the edges on the sides and the rear flap. Steel Tarps are the most commonly thought of tarp when it comes to flatbed trailers and is made from 18 oz PVC coated fabric that is cold crack rated to -40° C/F. The base fabric for Steel Tarps is a 1000×1300 denier and is made to be durable and cost-effective and light in weight while being durable.

Steel Tarps include reinforced hems with 2-inch webbing and zinc-plated steel d ring hardware that is spaced out every 24 inches with two additional rows of D Rings that are located at 24 inches and 48 inches on all four sides to prevent load shifts when transporting cargo.
