Returns and Exchange Policy

At Trucking Depot, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations or you may need to make an exchange. That’s why we’ve designed a straightforward and hassle-free returns and exchange policy. Whether you need to return an item, request an exchange, or have questions about how our free freight policy impacts your return, we’ve got you covered. Please read through the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and efficient process for your returns or exchanges.
1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
- Timeframe: Products can be returned or exchanged within 15 days from the delivery date.
- Buyer must notify Trucking Depot of lost or damaged merchandise within 3 days of product delivery.
- Buyer is responsible for the following:
- Inspecting shipments for lost or damaged products
- Signing the carrier freight bill as short, damaged, or incomplete
- Obtaining the signature of a carrier for lost or damaged products
- Condition: Items must be returned in new, unused condition and their original packaging. Any signs of use, wear, or damage may result in a denial of the return, refund, or exchange.
2. Free Freight Impact on Returns
- If a return causes the original order’s total value to drop below the $199 minimum (before tax), the customer will be responsible for the original shipping charges that were waived under our Free Freight policy. These shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.
- Return Shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer, unless otherwise approved by Trucking Depot.
- Exchange orders that meet or exceed the $199 minimum will still qualify for free standard shipping.
3. Non-Returnable/Non-Exchangeable Items
- Custom or Special Orders: Products made to order or customized specifically for the customer are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.
- Final Sale Items: Any items marked as “final sale” or “clearance” cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Zero Return Policy on these items: Cut rope or chain, Recovery Tow Ropes and Straps, Lifting Slings or Straps, Soft Shackles
4. Return Shipping Costs
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or a shipping error on our part.
- If a product is defective or an incorrect item was received, Trucking Depot will provide a prepaid return shipping label for the return.
- Trucking Depot will provide a shipping label for all returns so the customer can take advantage of our shipping rates. Customers may be charged for return shipping labels depending on the reason for return or exchange.
5. LTL Orders and Large Item Returns
- For LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments or orders with large items, customers must contact Trucking Depot to arrange for the return shipment. Any applicable return shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or sent in error.
6. Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after the returned items are received and inspected.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable shipping charges, restocking fees, or adjustments due to return eligibility.
- Restocking Fees for approved Returns or Exchanges will be 20%.
7. Exchanges
- If you would like to exchange an item, Trucking Depot will ship the replacement item at no additional cost if the new order meets the $199 minimum for free freight.
- The exchange process will begin once we receive and inspect the returned item.
8. Restocking Fee
- Returned items may be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the original purchase price.
