Our 16’ x 27’ Heavy Duty Steel Tarp is made from 18 oz PVC-coated waterproof material and offers the ultimate protection for your cargo underneath. Coil tarps are commonly used to protect metal products such as steel coils, raw metal materials, building materials, and metal fabrication products from coming into contact with moisture.

Metal that comes into contact with moisture can cause the metal products to corrode or rust which could cause damage or destroy the cargo. This steel tarp is cold crack rated to -40° C/F and the 18 oz heavy-duty tarpaulin helps offer unmatched durability and protection to your cargo. This tarp weighs 74 lbs and for full coverage on 53-foot flatbed trailers, you will need to use two steel tarps.

These tarps are made with several rows of D-rings spaced 24 inches apart and at the bottom of the steel tarp are reinforced grommets for fast and easy securing to the flatbed trailer.
