Coil tarps (also known as Coil Bags) go over steel coils on flatbed trailers to prevent the metal material from being in contact with moisture which could cause corrosion or rust. The 18 oz PVC-coated material is considered heavy-duty and is waterproof to ensure ultimate protection from one destination to the next. The heavy-duty coil tarp has a 6-foot width, 6-foot length, and a 6-foot height per tarp for full coverage and protection of your metal coils.

18 oz PVC coated tarpaulin is cold crack rated to -40 degrees C/F and is made from 1000×1000 denier to ensure heavy-duty durability and ultimate protection to your load. At the top of the coil tarp is a rounded shape design which helps make for an easier installation and provides less wind drag. Near the bottom of the tarp are slits that allow the tarp to fit around the transport chain used to secure the metal coils in place of the flatbed trailer.

The hems are reinforced with 2-inch heavy-duty webbing to provide extra strength for the rows of D rings, which can be easily and efficiently secured to the flatbed trailer using rubber tarp straps. The D-rings are coated with a zinc coating which helps prevent corrosion and rust while exposed to moisture.
