Endless Cam Buckle Tie Down Straps
Endless Loop Cam Buckle Straps is one of our commonly made endless loop straps and are often preferred for lighter-duty cargo or antiques. Available in either 1-inch or 2-inch wide polyester tie-down webbing blends and can be matched to the weight of your cargo application.
Endless Loop Straps as the name implies do not have any end-fitting hardware and loop back to themselves to be tightened into place. This is ideal for applications such as holding boxes of cargo onto a pallet, bundling cargo together to save space, hunting treestands, or even securing a canoe to the roof rack.
These straps are different from other tie-down straps as they are one-piece tie-down straps and do not include any end fittings on the strap. The strap is ultimately fed through itself creating a securement similar to how a belt on pants works and is secured in place by releasing the cam buckle strap that clamps the strap’s desired tightness into place.
The main reason behind endless loop cam buckle straps being the endless loop strap of choice for antiques is because they are tightened into place by using hand strength. This helps to eliminate the chance of overtightening the cargo and causing damage or costly insurance claims for professionals. Despite being tightened into place using hand strength 2-inch endless loop cam buckle straps can feature up to a 915 lbs safe assembly working load limit rating per strap.
Another one of the major benefits of using cam buckle hardware over ratchet hardware is the time savings that they can offer. On average cam buckle straps can be tightened into place and released in around half the time compared to ratchet straps hardware. This is due to the webbing not becoming stuck inside of the ratchet hardware or tightening/re-tightening the ratchet straps to the desired strength. Cam Buckle Straps can also fit into smaller spaces which makes them ideal for professionals who may be limited on space.
Made from heavy-duty polyester tie-down webbing that provides excellent strength, durability, and minimal stretching to ensure that once the cam buckle strap is secured it does not move out of place or become unsecured. Polyester also offers excellent protection against moisture, mold, mildew, and direct sunlight which are just some of the reasons that tie-down straps can become damaged over time. This is also an important reason why you should always inspect your tie-down straps before and after every use.
