The main difference between the two is how the endless straps are tightened, with cam buckles using cam buckle hardware and ratchet straps using ratchet hardware that flows in one direction.

Endless Loop Cam Buckle Straps

Endless Loop Cam Buckle Straps is one of the two different types of Endless Loop Straps. These straps are tightened into place using cam buckle hardware and hand strength. This is great for fragile cargo such as antiques, valuables, or sensitive cargo to secure to a pallet to remain secured or bundle together to prevent pieces sliding around inside a moving van or enclosed trailer.

Our 2-inch custom endless loop cam buckle strap features a safe assembly working load limit rating of 915 lbs per strap. Available in the length of webbing and the color of webbing that works best for your cargo control application needs best.

Our cam buckle straps work by opening the buckle hardware and threading the webbing until you have removed the desired slack. Once you have reached the tightness you are looking for you can let go of the cam buckle hardware to close it and the metal teeth on the cam buckle hardware will hold it in place until you reach the next destination.

Endless Loop Ratchet Straps

Endless Loop Ratchet Straps are the other variety of the two types of Endless Loop Straps. These straps use ratchet hardware to tighten the cargo into place or bundled together to provide much heavier-duty strength. The ratchet hardware works by flowing in one direction with every click of the ratchet hardware until the desired tightness is reached.

Once you have reached the desired strength close the ratchet hardware and it is secured in place until the next destination without issues with it coming undone while on the road. When you are ready to unload or unbundle pull up on the ratchet lever to open the ratchet hardware wide open until it is flat and pull the excess webbing out of the ratchet hardware mandril.

Due to the ratchet hardware being more heavy duty and rigid our 4-inch custom extra heavy duty endless loop ratchet strap provides a safe assembly working load limit of 5,400 lbs per strap. Made from 4-inch wide polyester tie-down webbing with a 24,000 lbs breaking strength and uses our 4-inch wide ratchet hardware that has a 24,000 lbs breaking strength.
