Rubber Tarp Straps can also be called rubber bungees and are designed for securing flatbed tarps on flatbed trailer to keep the cargo safe from debris, moisture, or damage while going down the road. Made from heavy-duty EDPM synthetic rubber materials that work great in all temperatures.
Made with high-quality “S” hooks that are zinc plated to help prevent corrosion and rust while being in the elements. The “S” hook ends can quickly latch onto the tarps grommets and latch the other end of the rubber bungee to the flatbed trailer to keep your cargo underneath the flatbed tarp free of damage.
One of the major benefits of using EDPM materials is when the rubber is exposed to direct sunlight or extreme heat. Compared to alternative rubber blends such as natural rubber it can help prevent the rubber bungee straps from melting or becoming damaged.
When measuring rubber tarp straps you should always measure from the bottom of the S hooks closest to the rubber from end to end. When measuring which size works best you should not include the zinc coated s hooks as part of the measure and only include the rubber portion of the tarp strap.
