Our 16’ x 27’ Light Duty Lumber Tarp has an 8’ x 4’ drop and is made from light-duty 14 oz PVC-coated tarpaulin that is cold crack rated to -40° C/F. This light-duty tarp has reinforced edges with grommets that prevent the tarpaulin from fraying or tearing when securing it to the flatbed trailer.

Our lumber tarps also include three rows of rust-resistant d rings with extra durable abrasion-resistant padding that is spaced every 24 inches to provide flexibility when securing your tarp. Both our grommets and d rings work great when paired with our rubber tarp straps available in different sizes such as 10 inches, 15 inches, 21 inches, 31 inches, or 41 inches.

Lumber tarps are ideal for securing cargo that is irregularly sized or oddly shaped such as lumber, construction materials, building supplies, or even general freight. Each tarp is made with strict quality control to help ensure longer-lasting durability and ease of use and the rear drop helps to ensure that the cargo underneath the lumber tarp is fully protected from all angles.

14 oz light-duty lumber tarps are often preferred by drivers who are making shorter drives or part of an aging workforce due to the tarps being lighter in physical weight making them easier to maneuver, quicker to install, and easy for solo drivers to use.

Light-duty tarps are entirely waterproof and work great at protecting cargo from rain, snow, ice, strong winds, direct sunlight, mold, mildew, and road debris which otherwise could cause damage to your cargo. To fully cover a 53-foot flatbed trailer you will need two lumber tarps.
